Copy your code from Your Embed Code in the Clvrly portal, then follow these steps. It takes about five minutes.
- In your Webflow dashboard, open the site and go to Site settings.
- Open the Custom code tab.
- Paste your Clvrly code into the Head code box and click Save changes.
- Go back to the Designer and click Publish. Tick every domain you use.
- Open your published site to see the assistant.
Custom code only runs on the published site, not in the Designer, so check your live domain after publishing.

Which Webflow plans does Clvrly work with?
Any paid site plan. Webflow only runs custom code on sites with a site plan.
Should I use an Embed element instead?
Not for the floating assistant. An Embed only covers the page it's on. Site-wide Head code puts the assistant on every page and loads it reliably.
Does it read my CMS collections?
Yes. Clvrly reads your published pages, including CMS collection pages such as blog posts, case studies and products, and answers from them.
I publish to a webflow.io address and a custom domain. Which do I add?
Add every domain where you want the assistant, in your Clvrly portal. Usually that's just your custom domain.
Do I need to know any code?
No. You copy one line from your Clvrly portal and paste it into one box in Webflow. You don't need to understand or change it.
Where do I find my Clvrly code?
Sign in to your Clvrly portal and open Your Embed Code. Copy the whole line exactly as shown.
Will it slow down my site?
No. The script loads with defer, so it never holds up your page, and the assistant appears once the page is ready.
How do I change how the assistant looks?
Colours, position, welcome message and mobile visibility are all set in your Clvrly portal. Changes appear on your site automatically, without touching Webflow again.
The assistant isn't showing. What should I check?
